GOD SAID THIS

After its success at the Humana Festival we were thrilled to have Primary Stages produce this wonderful play in New York at the Cherry Lane Theater. I once again had the privilege of playing 'Masako', a character based on Leah's mother, alongside a warm and wonderful group of actors - Jay Patterson, Satomi Blair, Emma Kikue and Tom Coiner. Its hard to improve on that, but I was also nominated as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play for a 2019 Lucille Lortel Award - an incredible honor, and the first Asian American woman to be nominated in that category. Wow.
